Senda
A local API client with YAML collections and desktop, terminal and CLI workflows.
Postman serves people working on HTTP API development, testing and request collections. These independent projects explore parts of that workflow with documented AI assistance. They are candidates to evaluate, not guaranteed drop-in replacements.

Switchable workflow: Use a local desktop API client for the same request/response work as Postman, with collections stored as YAML files. Source
Maker explicitly describes it as young and experimental. Large-response handling and cross-platform behavior have not been independently tested. No Postman cloud collaboration equivalence is claimed. Infrastructure, external API usage and optional services may have separate costs. Project source
Compare Postman vs SendaSwitchable workflow: Replace Postman’s local API-client workflow: create or import requests, configure authentication, send them and inspect responses. Source
Optional Scrape.do proxy usage has separate provider requirements and costs. Security, performance and advertised unlimited usage have not been independently verified. Project source

Match your actual workflow against the documented scope and limitations above. Moving API work means checking authentication, environment variables, collections, scripts and team sharing. A local client can cover request testing while leaving cloud collaboration and monitoring outside its scope. None of these listings is a promise of feature parity.
Each app links to attributable evidence of AI-assisted development. A verified contribution badge means a public commit credits an AI coauthor; a maker claim means the owner states AI was used. Neither establishes that every line was AI-generated or reviewed.
Senda, Scrapeman are documented as free to use. Check the license linked for each project. Running infrastructure can still incur costs. Open source alone is not evidence of AI authorship.
For Postman, focus on http requests, collections and scripts, authentication. Keep originals, try disposable copies and inspect round-trip exports. Missing comparison facts are unknown.
