This policy applies to cookies and similar browser storage used by Wevent Hungary Kft. on VibeAlt. It complements the privacy notice. A cookie is a small value sent with browser requests; local storage remains in your browser and is read by site scripts. Both are covered here.
Choose what runs.
Google Analytics is configured for public editorial pages. It loads only after an affirmative analytics choice.
“Accept all” enables the optional measurement category described below. “Essential only” keeps it off. There are no preselected optional categories, and you can browse without accepting optional cookies. Sign-in cookies are set only when needed for the account flow. Scrolling, following links or closing a page is not acceptance.

Why these categories are used.
Essential authentication and security storage is needed to deliver a sign-in or moderation function you request. Theme storage remembers an appearance choice you make. Consent storage records your decision, including refusal. Optional measurement relies on your affirmative consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)); necessary account processing is described in the privacy notice. There are no advertising or remarketing cookies enabled by this integration.
What optional measurement receives.
When enabled with consent, Google may receive browser/device information, the public page path and network information needed to process the request. This site strips query strings from the page-location value, disables advertising signals and excludes maker, account, moderation, submission and community routes from the analytics integration. Google remains a separate service provider; review Google's privacy policy.
Provider-side retention is different from cookie expiry.
The Analytics property was checked on 29 October 2026: event-level retention is two months and user-level retention is 14 months, with reset on new user activity enabled. These settings do not govern most standard aggregated reports. Cookie expiry, your stored consent choice and data already received by Google are separate things. Withdrawing consent.
Choose “essential cookies only” to disable analytics, clear matching first-party analytics cookies and reload an already-measured page. This prevents future measurement from this integration; it does not erase data already received by Google. You can also clear all site data using your browser controls.
Browser controls and other websites.
You can delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings or block them. Blocking essential sign-in cookies can prevent account access. Clearing the consent record causes VibeAlt to ask again; until a valid new acceptance, optional measurement stays off. A saved choice expires after 180 days.
GitHub or a listed tool can use its own cookies when you visit that service. Our preference controls do not control external websites. Fonts and catalogue logos served locally do not require a Google Fonts request. We do not embed social-network tracking widgets in directory cards.
